Do I need to know anything about websites or technology?
Not at all. We handle everything — the design, the technical setup, the hosting. You just tell us about your business and what you'd like, and we take care of the rest. If you can send an email, you can work with us.
What do I need to provide?
Just the basics about your business: what you do, your contact details, opening hours, and any photos you'd like to use. If you already have a website, we can pull content from there as a starting point. Don't worry about writing perfect text — we can help with that.
I already have a domain name. Can I keep it?
Yes, absolutely. Your domain stays yours — we never ask you to transfer it to us. We'll just update a couple of settings (called DNS records) to point it to your new website. Your email won't be affected.
Will my email still work?
Yes. We only change the settings that control your website. Your email setup is completely separate, and we're very careful not to touch it. We'll check everything is still working after the switch.
I don't have a domain yet. Can you get one for me?
Yes. We'll register a domain for you and set it up. The domain is registered in your name — you always own it. Domain costs (usually around £10-15/year for a .co.uk) are included in your plan.
What does "hosting" mean?
Hosting is where your website lives on the internet. Think of it like renting space for your website. It's included in your plan — you don't need to set it up or pay for it separately. We handle everything.
What is SSL, and do I need it?
SSL is what makes your website show as "secure" in the browser (the padlock icon). Without it, browsers warn visitors that your site isn't safe, which puts people off. Every site we build includes SSL automatically — no extra cost.
How long does it take to get my website?
We can usually build a first preview within a few days. After that, we'll refine it based on your feedback. Most sites are fully live within 1-2 weeks, depending on how quickly we go back and forth on changes.
What if I want to make changes after launch?
Small content changes — like updating your phone number, opening hours, or menu — are included in your plan at no extra charge. Just email us and we'll take care of it. For bigger changes like new pages or a redesign, we'll give you a clear quote first.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There are no upfront costs. You just pay the monthly fee. We build you a free preview before you commit, so you can see exactly what you're getting.
What happens if I cancel?
After your 12-month commitment, you can cancel anytime. Your domain stays yours. If you want to move your site elsewhere, we'll help with the transition. We don't lock you in or hold your domain hostage.
Will my site show up on Google?
Yes. Every site we build includes proper SEO fundamentals: page titles, descriptions, a sitemap, fast loading speeds, and mobile-friendly design. These are the things Google looks for when deciding where to rank your site. On the Growth plan, we also set up Google Search Console and submit your sitemap directly.
Do I need a cookie banner?
No. We build our sites without tracking cookies, third-party scripts, or analytics that require consent. That means no annoying pop-ups for your visitors. If you're on the Growth plan, we use privacy-friendly analytics that don't require cookies.
What's the difference between Essential and Growth?
Essential gives you a beautiful, fast, modern website with hosting and support. Growth adds tools to help you get found: visitor analytics, Google Business Profile setup, Google Search Console, and a monthly report showing how your site is performing. See the full comparison.
Can I see an example before I commit?
